Silo fabrication and quality is always a concern for us and for that matter we always use premium quality steel, assured plate thickness, and use epoxy paint to improve the life of the silos.

Our silos are equipped with heavy duty legs and with heavy duty supporting structure. We offer silos which are complete in all respect and its components includes ladders, monkey cages, pipelines, legs, bends, lifting hooks, working platforms etc. The parts of the silos are manufactured by special laser cutting and drilling technologies and they undergo special surface cleaning procedure. The silos are treated with red oxide primer coating and then with final colour paint coating. Then these silos are assembled and packed specially so that it will be suitable for transportation. These silos have mechanical valve in discharge part. The entire range is quality tested on well-defined parameters to ensure simple installation, less maintenance, durability and long life. On above of everything, we are having third party radiography testing for all the welding joints in our silos which we select randomly to maintain strict quality norms.

These are the most common silo accessories which help in maintaining a pre set pressure level in the silos. These valves start operational once the inside pressure of silos reaches the pre set pressure limit. As soon as the pressure exceeds the pre set value, these valves starts operational and helps in discharge of this high pressure

Hence preventing the breakdown of silo filters because of any excessive pressure.

The powder is transferred from feeding pumps/ bulkers to silos with high pressure. There can be a possibility of transferring of air instead of powder due to absence of powder in the bulkers, resulting in having high air pressure in silos. This can result in damage of silo or silo filter in the absence of these pressure relief valves

Silo Top Filter is a cylindrically shaped dust collector for venting of pneumatically filled silos. The stainless steel body contains vertically mounted, Silo Top Filter elements

Dust filtration is based on elimination of extremely small solid particles from a certain volume of air. This is achieved through use of a filter made from fabric or non-woven spun-bonded materials which allows air to pass through but is able to withhold the dust particles. To avoid clogging, the filter medium must be cleaned regularly. Divided into two families of round and polygonal filters, each group includes a variety of choices and options. The round dust collector range includes versions with weather protection cover, suction fan or a flange connection for an existing fan. The filter media are cleaned either by mechanical vibration or by a compressed air jet. Depending on the type of dust and the application of the unit, round filters are equipped with either cylindrical bags, elliptical bags or with cartridges, the latter offering the most favourable filter surface to volume ratio. The filter media itself can be made of needlefelt, different qualities of plain or surface treated non-woven polyester in standard or antistatic version and of various other materials, again depending on the type of dust to be filtered. In this case the dust source consists of a moving mixture of powder and air pouring into a collecting hopper. On arrival inside the hopper the air must be allowed to escape, otherwise the hopper would burst. On top of the air outlet a round filter with weather protection cover is installed in order to hold back the dust. The contaminated air is blown into the filter body. While the dust settles on the outside of the cartridges, the air penetrates the filtering media and escapes through the clean air outlet at the top of the unit. To keep the media clean, groups of cartridges are cleaned alternately by compressed air jets shot inside the cartridges.

Level indicators are used to check the maximum or minimum level of powder quantity which is filled in the silo. This indicator is used to determine the maximum and minimum level of powder filled in the silo with the help of sensors. These indicators in turn give the signals to the electrical panel which shows the level via electrical lights.

In the procedure of filling the powder in the silos, as soon as the powder touches the sensor of maximum indicator, the sensor sense the touch and give the signals to electrical panel which in turn shows that the silo is about to fill. And similarly in the process of emptying the silo, as soon as the powder touch the sensor of minimum indicator, the sensor gives signal and shows that the silo is about to get emptied. Minimum - Maximum level indicators usually are used to determine filling level of the material which has 0.5 to 2.0 ton/m³ density in the silo and mostly they are assembled on bottom and top parts of the cement silo.

For closing silos containing powders or granular materials, or to close screw conveyor outlets, Butterfly Valves still are and always will be among the most widely used equipment.
Butterfly Valves consist of two high-pressure die-cast semi-bodies made from aluminium alloy, either a steel core disc coated with unique FDA-approved polymer composite or a cast iron disc, and a pre-tensioned elastomer seal. These valves can be used for isolating or regulating flow. Operation of these valves is similar to that of a ball valve, which allows for quick shut off. Butterfly valves are generally favored because they are lower in cost to other valve designs as well as being lighter in weight, meaning less support is required. The disc is positioned in the center of the pipe, passing through the disc is a rod connected to an actuator on the outside of the valve. Rotating the actuator turns the disc either parallel or perpendicular to the flow. Unlike a ball valve, the disc is always present within the flow, therefore a pressure drop is always induced in the flow, regardless of valve position.

This is a combination of horizontal and vertical screws which is used to feed the powder in the silos. The system consists of a Horizontal Screw Feeder, which is either designed for feeding from bag hoppers or from silos, and a Vertical Screw Conveyor. Material is discharged by the Vertical Screw into a weigh hopper, one or more silos, or into further conveying systems.

This Pneumatic conveying systems offers 18 to 20 tons per hour capacity for bag & bulk cement feeding to silo. The stationary bulker is connected to twin lobe blower with necessary piping up the silo. Various capacities bulker is manually feed & pressurized to feed the powder to silos. Number of silos can be feed from one system. As system electrically consumption starts after manual feeding only. This system is exclusively designed to have practically possible & suitable feeding rates at lower connected power reduces the operating cost marginally. Very often it is observed the popular conventional manual bag/bulk feeding system is pneumatic screw pump utilized to designed extent considering laborious handlings. The systems running at 80 HP connected load for 18 to 20 tons per hour feeding rate. This pneumatic conveying system offered is the combination of fast bulker unloading with practically possible manual feeding capacity. Lower maintenance cost higher workability makes it efficient in comparison of other conventional system. Cement Feeding Systems are constructed of mild and structural steel, and mounted on a base. These pumps are equipped with pedestal blocks that support a pump screw which helps to provide a smooth, balanced operation. The screw is dynamically balanced and areas of this screw, along with other parts of the pump in direct contact with the material to be conveyed, are made of hardened, wear-resistant material and special hard surfacing where required. The screw is directly coupled to the driving motor but can be v-belt driven. Standard equipment on these pumps includes a pressurized seal and bearing assembly that extends the service life of the discharge seals by preventing the material being handled from entering the bearing area.
